Event overview
The Reverse Career Fair gives employers a chance to network with undergraduate and graduate students to discuss co-op, internships and new graduate opportunities at your organization. Students from our technology, engineering and math programs will be sharing the skills, research and projects that they have completed at the university. Students will be able to provide resumés to employers digitally after the event.

Registration
- The cost to attend the Reverse Career Fair is $80 plus tax per company (we recommend up to four participants). For additional attendees, organizations will be required to complete another registration form and pay an additional registration fee.
- Attendees will be able to upload their resumé to a Google Drive folder after attending the in person or virtual event. The bundle of resumés will be sent out to employers after the events.

Prior to the event, you will have the opportunity to meet the Co-op and Internship coordinators from our participating faculties, as well as find out more about the Reverse Career Fair. An invitation will be sent to registered employers at the end of September.

Frequently asked questions

How many attendees can my organization bring?
Each organization can have four attendees. For additional attendees, you will be required to complete another registration form and pay an additional registration fee.

What can I expect upon arrival?
You will be required to sign in at our employer registration table. Once you have signed in, you are welcome to enjoy some light refreshments in our employer lounge where our opening remarks will be held.

Does my organization need to bring any promotional materials?
You are not required to bring any promotional materials to hand out to students, as there will not be a designated booth to display promotional materials. If you have small items that can be carried with you, then you are welcome to bring those along.

What students will be attending the Reverse Career Fair?
Co-op and Internship students within the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and the Faculty of Science (Computer Science and Mathematics for Science and Industry) will be attending the morning sessions and grad students in these programs will be attending in the afternoon.

How will my organization obtain resumés from students?
Following the Reverse Career Fair, students will have the ability to upload their resumé to a Google Drive which will then be shared with each organization. Students are also encouraged to have physical copies of their resumé for your team to collect (if preferred).

Will there be an employer prep session?
Yes! More information about the prep session will be provided to you from our Career Centre team. By attending, you'll be able to discuss any concerns or questions you may have about the event.

Will refreshments be provided at the event?
Yes, a light breakfast and lunch will be provided to all employers. When registering for the event, you are required to let us know of any allergies and/or dietary restrictions.

Is there parking available?
Yes, parking is available in Founders Lot 2 and there will be no fee to park. A parking chaser ticket will be given to you at the employer sign in desk.
