Consider joining the Equity Advocates team, a group of student volunteers, who develop and deliver initiatives to promote an equitable living, learning, and working environment for students.
Throughout the school year, we also offer workshops and awareness programs such as Equity Awareness Week, RISE workshops, and #LetsTalkSex Awareness Week. As a new student at Ontario Tech how will I be supported as I transition into university life?
Orientation is the university's largest transition program specifically geared toward students who are beginning classes in September. This is your chance to connect with other new students, get familiar with your academic program and get to know your way around campus. Winter Orientation is available to those who transition or transfer to university during this term.
During the first six weeks of the fall semester, we invite you to participate in our First Six Weeks program. It is designed to help you achieve success during your time at Ontario Tech. Each week, we offer sessions connected to academic skills, networking, and getting involved on campus.
