How do I contact the Test Centre?

Test Centre Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Closed daily from noon to 1 p.m.
- Evening and weekend tests or exams can be accommodated upon request.

I am authorized for an academic accommodation plan by my Accommodations and Accessibility Specialist. Does this mean all of my accommodations will automatically be co-ordinated?
No. You must opt into your accommodations on a per-semester basis by reviewing them through the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Portal.

Where am I writing my test(s)?
On-campus assessments:
We have two Test Centre locations: Shawenjigewining Hall, Room 343A and Charles Hall, Room 236.Online assessments:
You still have to book with the Test Centre via the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Portal to notify your instructor(s) of the accommodated time that can be added to your test.
If you noticed your extra time is not calculated correctly, immediately email your professor and copy the testcentre@ontariotechu.ca.

Why can't I book my test in the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Portal?
You may still need to send your accommodation letter(s) to your professor for the semester. Check to ensure you have completed this step before trying again.
Other reasons you may not be able to book and what actions to take:

Your accommodations have expired: Contact your Accommodations and Accessibility Specialist as soon as possible to make an appointment to rectify this.

Your test conflicts with the timing of another one: Contact the Test Centre at testcentre@ontariotechu.ca and we will help arrange the timing of both assessments.

Your test is less than seven (7) working days away: Contact the Test Centre at testcentre@ontariotechu.ca. If your test is three working days away or less, you will not be able to book with the Test Centre as there will be insufficient processing time—you'll be writing with your class.
